Flesh and Blood: Accessibility Mat

Step into the immersive world of "Flesh and Blood: Accessibility Mat," an innovative video game designed as a tool to play the popular card game "Flesh and Blood" with a primary focus on accessibility features for the blind and visually impaired community. By integrating hotkeys and a screen reader, this game opens up new possibilities for players to engage in thrilling card battles, unleash powerful abilities, and experience the excitement of strategic gameplay, regardless of their visual abilities. As the developer of this inclusive tool, I take great pride in presenting the following key features and highlights:

Key Features

Screen Reader Compatibility: "Flesh and Blood: Accessibility Mat" is fully compatible with popular screen readers, ensuring that all in-game information, card details, and game status are effectively conveyed through audio cues and text-to-speech.

Hotkeys and Keyboard Navigation: The game features a comprehensive set of  hotkeys and intuitive keyboard navigation, empowering players to perform actions efficiently without the need for visual cues.

Accessible Interface: The user interface is designed with a clear and simple layout, making it easy for players to navigate menus, manage their deck, and interact with opponents seamlessly.

Audio Feedback and Alerts: Audio feedback, such as unique sound effects and distinct voiceovers, provides vital information during battles, turn changes, and key events to enhance the player's awareness of the game's state.

Accessible Deck Building Tools: By integrating the Flesh and Blood database API I am able to pull every card that is currently up to date and integrate it directly into the game as a text format that can be put through the screen reader. Allowing players of all capabilities to effectively create a deck or even search for new cards as they are released.
